Congratulations to Jerica!
We are thrilled to share the news that LRS Council Ring member Jerica Fehr has received the Rising Star award for the 7th Annual African American Environmental Pioneer Awards!
The award ceremony was February 16, 2026 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Community Center. Drummer Ojumire Charleston with the Drums Up – Guns Down 414 youth drummers and Ko-Thi Dance Company’s Ton Ko-Thi Youth ensemble performed; nationally acclaimed vocalist Carl Jackson led singing of the Black National Anthem; Wisconsin State Rep Supreme Moore-Omokunde performed the Libation; and Spoken Word Artist Martiza Dixon was featured.
